EMERGENCY NUMBERS

reception

The reception is open daily from 8 am – 10 pm and can be reached by phone from your room at number 400. After 10 pm you can contact Security (500) in an emergency.

You can contact the reception for more information and questions about amongst others the following services:
• bath towels (you can change them twice a week at the reception)
• excursions
• car rental
• parking card
• registration free shuttle bus to Willemstad or the beach
• souvenirs in the shop
• check out
• bus transfer times
• visiting times agency representative

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change money or withdraw money at the reception or at the resort.

Check-in

Upon check-in you have received an all-inclusive bracelet with chip with which you can open the room / apartment door. You can also use this strap at the robot bar. In addition, you have - if applicable - received a safe key with the indicated room number. Each building on the resort has its own letter/ number. These can be found on the site map of the information folder and on the sign in front of the reception.

Check-out

The check out time is until 11 am. Please hand in the room straps, safe key and bath towels at the reception. Late check out is possible on request and upon availability at an additional cost of $50 until 6 pm.

If you do not have a late check out, you can place your suitcases in our storage and shower above the reception before departure. If you have booked with Corendon, you can always stay at the resort until the bus has arrived for your transfer to the airport.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping takes care of a well-kept and clean accommodation. At the hotel rooms, housekeeping is done daily.

The cleaning at the resort for the apartments is organized as follows:

Arrival and departure cleaning.
2 x per week intermediate cleaning.
1 x per week change of bed linen.
2 x per week change of bath linen.
Clean towels daily

pool towels

Upon arrival you will receive a bath towel, which you must return on departure. At the reception you can change the bath towels. You can change these twice a week for free. More frequent changes are possible for a small fee.

tropical garden

The accommodations at the Kunuku Aqua Resort are built in a unique Caribbean style with a beautiful tropical garden with lots of flora and fauna. Enjoy this green oasis with colorful bougainvilleas, jasmine plants, aloe plants and different types of palm trees.

Parking

If you book an apartment, you can park your car next to the apartment in the designated parking space. If you book a hotel room, park your car in the guarded car park in front of the reception.

Internet & TV

Free and open Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort. The apartments & hotel rooms / studios have a television. On a special channel you will find information about the resort, sights and activities on Curaçao and the like. If you have any questions about this information, please contact the reception.

electricity

On Curaçao the mains voltage is 100 -130 volts/50 Hertz. At Kunuku Aqua Resort, the mains voltage everywhere is 220-230 Volts.

The use of water and electricity is very expensive on Curaçao. We kindly ask you to turn off the lights and air conditioning when you leave the room. Thank you for your understanding.

money

On the island you can swipe with the international Maestro. Costs per swipe transaction are often charged for this. Payment with Maestro or credit card is also usually possible in stores. The most common credit cards are Mastercard, American Express, Visa and Discover. At the moment, the most common currency, the NAF, is Dutch Antillean Guilder. It is also possible to pay with US dollars in many places. Unfortunately, it is not possible to withdraw or exchange money at the resort. The nearest ATM is at the petrol station in Tera Cora (5 minutes drive).

visitors

Visitors to Kunuku Aqua Resort who use the facilities pay an entrance fee. If you let family and / or friends come to visit, they pay an entrance fee of $44 (NAF 79.20) for an adult person and $ 32 (NAF 57.60 for children per day including coins with which you can order food & drinks at our outlets. Please inform reception if you wish to receive a visit and what their time of arrival & departure will be.
